This is a typical roman pillar taken at the bottom.

This is a typical design crown of the top pillar. There must be a special name for it but I just dont know. This new crown was crafted from marble stone and placed on top of the ancient pillar. This is part of the renovation and rejuvenation work carried out to preserve the existing monuments.

There are eight numbers of roman pillars. This is a Zappeion. This long building surrounded y the National Gardens. i did not go inside junder wander around the gardens.

This building is situated at the Panepistimiou area. We walk along the Elef.Venzelou Ave to find Attica the new shopping complex. It was late in the evening. Still you can observe the roman pillars and the statues on both sides suppoeted by the pillars. That is me standing in front of the building, and decorated with orange trees at both sides.

Athens possessed many beautiful buildings that translated the roman design. Almost all the prominent buildings having this design concept. it is so unique to have a fruit trees for landscaping especially olive and orange trees.
That is me in front of the parliment house near Syntagma Square.
A minute balcony design with cast iron. Beautiful swans facing each other symmetrically. I think the balcony is like a focal design for the flat. You can enjoy varieties of design everyway in Athens. The above is quite ordinary but looks elegent.
This building I took near Acropolis station. Similarly the balcony is weel design and presented.
These picture I took while strolling in the National Gardens. Nice arrangement of palm trees. The hard and soft landscape blended well.
