Ini yang di katakan malang tidak berbau. Apa yang kita rancang lain jadinya. Tapi perancangan Allah lah yang terbaik. Yang penting kita sabar dan redha. Aku dah puas jalan jalan di Brunei and now is the time to go home to Bintulu. Lepas check out kami terus pandu ke Sarawak. Tiada lagi tempat nk singgah. Langit pun semakin mendong dan gelap. Perjalanan menuju ke Telaga Tujuh memakan masa selama satu jam lima belas minit. Setiba di check point kereta penuh berbaris. Weekend ramai yg nak balik kam pung ke arah yang bertentangan. Selesai sudah kami bertolak ke kedai mamak. Ingat nk makan nasi beriani tapi tak menyelerakan. Aku dan Hadi order mee goreng ang Shamim order maggi. Alamak tak sedap. Nandy pergi cari surau untuk dolat jamak. Cuaca semakin mendung. Sepanjang perjalanan ke Bintulu hujan lebat. Dengar berita Bintulu banjir. Aku tak angkat pot sangat. Rasanya rumah aku ok kot. Aku terus gonyeh kuaci sambil borak dengan Nandi. Anak anak aku kat belakang dah di buai mimpi. Hajan ma

Kami check in kat hotel dalam pukul 2.00 petang. Rehat kejap kami pun pegi jalan jalan. Datang Brunei dah banyak kali tapi tak pernah tour pakai boat. Sebab nak bawa anak anak aku jalan jalan naik juga lah boat ride ni. Dia minta $60 tapi udah di tawar baru dapat $50. Oklah..... Dia bawa kami pusing di pinggiran istana dan kawasan sekitar. Di terusnya perjalanan sehinggah ke tempat monyet belalai gajah. Aku pun dah lupa nama sebenar monyrt ni. Bila balik pula kami mengikut arah ke sekitar kampung air. Inilah uniknya negara Brunei.

Pagi pagi lepas breakfast kami keluar kejap untuk shopping di bandar. Shopping apa tu?? Mesti korang rasa kwlakar bila aku bagi tau. Hehehe..... Pertamanya aku bwli dvd player yg harganya cuma $B39.90 brand phillips. Aku rasa ok lah tu. Kalu nak beli kat Bintulu pun mahu rm100 gak walau brand chap ayam. Secondly aku beli beras basmati satu paket 5 kg dlm harga rm28 je. Pastu beli beras poni cuma rm20 utk 5 kg. Org kata beras sini murah, tu yg aku beli tu.... Finally amik gambar dgn anak anak aku di sekitar bandar. Cuaca redup dan nyaman jadi seronoklah sikit.

Rasanya depa doh seronok setelah lama asyik terperap kat rumah. Yelah dpat ambil angin dan santai. Aku pun sebenarnya mati kutu mana nk bawa.

Firstly we thought that we were never made it to Niah since the rain started showering last night. I knew that my children were getting bored staying at home doing nothing. Their holiday must be fun, isn't it?? About 10.30 I said to them lets go who knows that the rain might subside when we were reaching Niah. I drove using the old road and the vehicles towards Miri not that bad. But you need to watch out for the potholes! I have been there once and I didnt really remember how long to reach the National Park. I just drove until we met the sign board to the left leading to Niah National Park. It was 12 noon and not many people around. Tickets for three of us was rm16. Adult was rm10. Then you need to pay a sampan man to cross the river for rm1 each. Now we started to walk through the jungle. I fid not wear my snikers. So did Syamim. Ok....we walk until the big cave and we came back. It took about 30 minutes with a brisk walk. My children Hadi and Syamim having their vacation in Bintulu. Hahahaha....I got headache to manage the plan where to take them. Oooo....I got the idea to bring them to Similajau National Park and Niah National Park. I myself dont really know where to take them since I am engross with my work. But I would manage my time for them to enjoy their stay. I would sure they easily getting bored staying in rumah bujang with basic furniture and entertainment. You know lah....balik rumah untuk tido je. First day i brought them to Tanjung Batu. I was only a short period since the weather was not promising. Today it is raining heavily and our plan to Gua Niah is little bit delay until the rain stops. Now we just waiting in the house watching a cartoon. It is a boring day!

Our time together in Jakarta was marvelous. This was the chance that we could break away for a while from my children. If not my wife always stick to my children especially the small ones. It seemed that Sarah and Yusuff already understood how ummi would like to have a short break. I love nasi padang. Especially when they lay down all the dishes on the table with a spakling orange and red colours. Oopppsss.....they have yellow as well. You can feel the scrumptious of its delicacies. We were at the Plaza Indonesia and the ambient and surrounding was so poche and made you felt so comfortable. It was a lunch time and we started to walk slong so many restaurant. Then we found an authetic nasi padang restaurant that made our stimach grumbling immediately.

Today is the last day in Jakarta. No need to stay longer unless the traffic really smooth. Not really reliable coz I have to deal with a taxi driver that refuses to take us anyway unless without meter. Since I need to check out ftom the hotel by 1300 hours, we went to Sarinah for final shopping. I thought there were many shops in the building but a departmental store. As we entered the building I went to the music section to buy Opick latest album. We roaming aroung and went through the lady's area. Bought my wife blouses and not the cheap even made in Indonesia. Finally we went upstairs for Muslimah boutique. Wow, the design were very nice and my wife insisted to buy for Balqis. I was contemplating because the design and clothes were not cheap. Hhhmmm.....what would I do? Since Kizz got an acceptable result for her matrix, I present her the jubah and few tudung to share with Shamim. Hope she really like it....

I never know this singer but looks like he plays a good music. I was at Plaza Jakarta yesterday and when we were roaming around at the basement, we saw a music lounge. I thought of buying javanese gamelan music instead I add another collection of mine. Hope the music and the song soothing and mesmerizing...

Now it is time to say good bye to Jakarta. We have been here for two days and it is just enough to know Jakarta. I am not exagerating but it is only the traffic. Everywhere seems to stuck in the jam! My wife is happy to be here and we enjoy the shopping of local muslimah boutique and nasi padang. When we were at the hotel, my wife feel restless coz nothing to do. I said to her now is time to relax and free from hustle.

This is Masjid Solihin, Bandar Seri Bagawan, Brunei Darul Salam... I was here three weeks ago when visiting Hassan. It situation at Brunei Government Administrative Buildings. The unique moroccan architecture impresses everybody who has opportunity to make a solat. Very quite and tranquil to offer the prayers....

Hari Sabtu lepas kami decided untuk time out ke Taman Negara Similajau. Iye lah dah terus berkerja perah otak elok juga amik masa untuk rehatinda dan berehlah. Orang kata tenangkan minda. Jadi aku kasi Pak Mat and makwe aku Elizabeth utk uruskan segala petsiapan.. I give them freedom utk buat apa saja aturcara. Salah satu adalah jungle tracking. Aku dah agak dah kalu pegi, esok tu mesti kaki sengal sengal. Maklumlah lama tak exercise. Ni mau kadi join and segala muscle longgar skit. Kami berjalan menuju ke teratak view selama setengah jam. Tak adalah penat sangat tapi. ...... Esok pagi tu memang muscle aku sakit sakit. Mahu seminggu nk sembuh. Anyway the trip was very exciting!

This is one of my latest design. It is mot difficult. All you need to do is stitch, cut and patch to make this beautiful quilt. The difficult part is when to choose the design and colour of fabrics. Sometimes the colour already matches but the amount of fabric is insufficient. Now it is open for booking and ready to put onto the frame for batting and hand stitches.

Just finish my cooking for lunch. It is still early but to make everything ready I would have enough time to do my reading, tidy up my room etc. I just called my friends to enjoy the meal with me. Eventhough it is simple, but it is very traditional and authentic. These are my menu: 1. Fish curri 2. Fried fish 3. Fried long beans with soy sauce 4. Salad marinated with shrimp paste sauce This is what we say finger licking good.

I have started and i have succeded! At first I thought it was difficult to construct the rapid fire lemone star and it might be imposdible to complete. I have seen the design and how it was done in the video by Deb Tuckervand it seemed so difficult. I should give a trial and immediately I ordered from Studio180. The design ruler already arrived but the spirit yo get going was never happened. The mood was not coming and eventually I have to move to Bintulu for a new assignment. Oh my god....how to develop my spirit and mood that I have lost? I might miss it forever! But my might still remain cautious to start this new design that would bring me to another level of skill. Last weekend I went back to Rawang and I desperately walk-in to my studio and wondering which fabric to match the patterns. I picked up one by one and rearrange the colours and the back ground to ensure that combination was right. Let get going. I watched the last video in the youtube and I really triggered me deeply

If you want to know what this plant is, all of you would prefer to grow it at your backyard. I forgot what is the scientific name of the plant but we call it 'Tongkat Ali'. One thing that I never realise that this plant could bear beautiful reddish waxy fruits like cherry and you can find it easily in the rain forest of Similajau Taman Negara.

I love the love birds because I adore the colours and it's gentle moves. I ordered a huge cage putting in front ofy garden and they look so beautiful flying from one end to the other end. At first I thought to have two pair only, and now I ending up having 6 pairs of them with varities of colours. My zorrow musk died last week and really saddened me and I am not sure whether the one that I have is female or female. I was surprised to see these birds start changing their partner and becoming another bonding pair. No wonder they called it lovebird. Leaving in Bintulu making my hobby quite difficult coz I rely upon my wife to take care of them. Hhhmmmm.........

Sometimes when you have lost somebody, and you need to find him, all you need to do is to make a contact to the other somebody and insyaallah you will find that somebody that you seach. This was what had happened to me when I try to find my Bruneian friend, Hassan. I try to find him in the facebook but failed. I have lost all the contact infos of my Bruneian friends. What did I do? Yes, I contacted my friend in Miri and I was confident that he can resolve my problem. When I called him, he promised to return my call. Few minutes later I got the number of Dr Hj Ibrahim. Then Dr Ibrahim navigated me to find Hassan phone number. It happened few days before I left for Brunei. Here we were in Brunei meeting Hassan and his boys. Ooppsss....I asked Nandy to accompany me to feel the vibrant of Brunei.

My friends Nandy and Yus asked me to join them fishing prawn. Hhhmmm not that my real hobby and I can ensure that I ended up catching nothing! I love fishing anyway but I have to sharpen my skill. Never mind...you can go but bring me few kilos to cook for you. I would expect them to bring at least 3 kilos when they would spend for the whole day. I kept on messaging them to know the quantity of the catch. They remained quite but I thougt the result must be bad. I forwarded another message to buy cili padi. To start cooking was not a problem and it would be a simple recepi. After isyak they came without Yus and with 8 numbers of cili padi for rm1. Wow this was too expensive. I thougt of 3kilos but the catch was a quarter kilo. Hhhmmmm.......I went to the kitchen and within 30 minutes, everything was ready. Masak lemak cili padi, friend mackarel and squilt curry....

Is it that simple to get away with it? No! We cannot get away with it but we have to deal with it and whatever decision let's make it rest in peace. This is about life and live. I just started reading a new book. Still crawling to get to the centre of the book. The only time I managed to continue my reading is after come back from a mosque i.e before my eyes start getting tired and sailing to a sound sleeping. The other time is during the weekend when I am so free to do nothing. I woukd expect to complete my reading in a month? Hey...am I too ambitious? Or do I need to re-assess my judgement? Hhhmmm.....never mind....let me chase the deadline.

I missed him so much. If I could fly, I would fly across the continents and sea tu hug him and to tell him we missed you so much. Do I need to do that? No.... I dont really feel melancholy to that extend. I let him go.... Be a good boy. Have the right thought and perception and learn how to live and survive. With whatsups, internet and modern technology, We dont feel the distance. We just like being refraining from the wall. I only need to say that take good care of yourself and Allah must always be in your heart.

My quilting design had totally stopped since I moved to Bintulu. But the flame of my spirit never dies. I have plenty of quilt project that are waiting and I have to tackle one after the other. This weekend I am going to complete my previous design and then only I will be ready for the new one. My current job really take its toll out of me.... I am tired and drained....

Living in Bintulu might be boring if you dont know what to do. Basically everybody is stuck here. Within an hour you can cover the whole Bintulu. I just wonder what actually Bintulu can offer me? Hhmmm.....or should I say what I can offer to Bintulu? Yeah...that might be right. There are many things I can do in Bintulu so as not to waste my time. I already got a nice plan laid down. But I need to establish and turn my room into a studio! I present room only for short let and I am waiting for another house to be vacated. Then my whole idea and plan would run smoothly. First to have a table in my room. Then I need airconditioned room. Then I need special lighting in my room. Then it would be ok. With very fresh and abundance of seafood like fish, my kitten would be occupy regularly. No more eating outside and spending unnecessary time out there. Yes.....I love all the fishes....

Everytime when I returned home there were things demanded by my children. The only this was I can only fullfil one at a time and others should wait for their turns. It was not easy to say than done! Some can be very patience like Adah and some might show their tantrum like Yusuff. I have to play my role to mitigate all these issues. Yusuff demanded a bicycle from me but I knew that the bicycle wont last long. Within days everything would been torn apart. I have to cajole him by taking to McD for a lunch. And the promise for a bicyle might happen next month. The first part he must prove tha he could read before the nect school. He always argue with me bicycle first than he will learn how to read! Oh my god...he is demanding. I went to Bukit Bintang Plaza and find Ikhlas a skateboard. He had asked a very long time ago. But this would be his second skateboard. It is not cheap but expensive. I bought alsa pad guards for his arms and knees. So what Ikhlas is promising me for having the sc

Finall we managed to complete this beautiful quilt for Rose after striving with patience for 4 months. I give special compliment especially to my wife for giving her full endurance to finish this delicate work as a wonderful product. I met rose on Saturday to deliver this quilt which fell on her birthday.
